Eco Nature Travel

Eco Nature Travel is a travel information hub which provides sustainable travel and tour information to those travelers who wish to have an unusual and responsible travel experience compared to the mass travel products. Responsible travels refer to tourism products that preserve natural habitats, wildlife and communities so that they can continue to deliver benefits for the future generation. The Principles of Responsible Tourism focus mainly on economic, social, environmental practices that meet any of the following criteria: 

• a) Environmental

            - Protect the Environment - its flora, fauna and landscapes

            - Conserve natural resouces - from office to destination

            - Minimise pollution - through noise, waste disposal and congestion 

• b) Social

            - Respect local cultures - tradition, religions and built heritage 

• c) Economical

            - Benefit local communitites - both economically and socially  

Eco Nature Travel will try to provide information related to the three types of responsible travel in the Asia region to enrich the journey of the travlers’ life. The three unique categories of responsible travels are:

• Eco Tourism and Travel - Travel and issues related adventure travel experiences to the natural environment including wildlife, ecology and wildlife exploration. Eg: Wildlife Observation, Caving, Bird Watching, Jungle or Rainforest Trekking, Hiking or Mountaineering.

• Cultural, Village Farming Tour & Homestay - Visits to the rural areas to explore the culture, lifestyle of the local natives. This will also includes agriculture, farming and plantation visits and exploration. E.g:  Village and Farm Stay, Organic Farm Tour or other Agriculture Tour.

• Volunteer Travel - Voluntary travel experience are travel that involved working with local charities, government bodies and community organisations to work on a wide range of community and conservation projects make your travel experience meaningful.  This includes voluntary service related to community development, conservation of the nature, teaching and building schools and homes for the needy.

Visitors and travelers are welcome to share, exchange information and discuss issues related those types of travel via the blog and forum. Besides that, you are also welcome to discuss ways that could create a life fulfulling travel experience through this website.
